A Studio of Dreamers and Doers
We're a lively band of creative professionals—projection artists, teachers and theatrical storytellers. And we're passionate about seeing theatre and dance makers' dreams come to life on stage!
How We Started
Our story began in a small rural town in Alabama. A friend of ours, Amanda, was directing a theatre company for at-risk youth and needed posters for her shows. So our Founder and Creative Director, Mitch, designed posters, tickets and programs pro bono to support the group.
Then, Amanda's vision got bigger. In addition to making posters, she asked if he could also paint something digitally to project behind the actors for their shows. Mitch said, "Sure!" and so began our tale!
The Breakthrough
After designing projections for shows like Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Lion King, the possibilities seemed endless.
Digital projections were beginning to emerge as the future for scenic design, but could it be done in a way that 'leveled the playing field?' Could there be high quality art for so many stories being told on stage—regardless of their size or budget?
That's where we saw our shot!
What Inspires Us
We love dreaming big. And our biggest dream is helping theatre makers realize theirs.
When we meet teachers and directors, and their eyes light up when they realize the possibilities for their unique shows, that's why we roll up our sleeves and make projection magic each day!
Art made with love
Our professional artists handcraft each theatre projection here at our Atlanta studio.
We start with pencils and paper, illustrate digitally, and then create animation and visual effects tailored for the stage.
