6 Great Theatre Songs (loaded with hope and good)

Theatre is best when it stirs those things in each of us which are hopeful and good. Reminding us that in a dark world, there are still things to hope for, fight for, and remember. That’s the journey I want to take most when I see a play or listen to a song. A journey into places where I feel inspired and renewed, despite the day I might be having or feelings that can come to discourage or take away from who we are.

Here are a few songs from the stage that endure as ones both memorable and full of unapologetic hope and good.

1.) “Tomorrow” (Annie)

2.) “Defying Gravity” (Wicked)

3.) “My Favorite Things” (The Sound of Music)

4.) “No One is Alone” (Into the Woods)

5.) “Somewhere” (West Side Story)

6.) “Feed the Birds” (Mary Poppins)
